In a highly contested match Ta’ Xbiex obtained a very important victory over Exiles.

The two foreigners, Exiles’ Aurelien Cousin and Ta’ Xbiex’s Roman Polacik, stood out in this match which was decided by a late Polacik goal.

Veterans Marco Mannara, Mark Galea Pace and Dorian Pisani were also instrumental for Aldo Scerri’s outfit.

Mannara even scored a hat trick. This results confirms that the second division league is going to be a very interesting and balanced affair as the second part of the season gets underway in the coming weeks.

Marsascala will start from top spot having a better goal difference than co-leaders Exiles.
