Bank of Valletta yesterday announced the launch of a new international debit card for students, called the BOV Club Cashlink Visa.

The executive head of sales and product development at Bank of Valletta, Alan Cassar explained that the new card formed part of the new BOV Club package and would be launched during the coming weeks.

He said the new BOV Club package would not only be promoted using a new, fresh, young and colourful design but would also include more added value, making it the best package BOV has ever offered to students.

The new BOV Club Cashlink VISA offers students a number of benefits, such as 24-hour access to the funds held in their account. Furthermore, since the card is a local debit card that can be used worldwide, it is ideal for use when travelling abroad as it can be used for withdrawals at ATMs, and for making purchases at any point of sale terminal locally and abroad.

Students can also use their BOV Club Cashlink Visa Card while shopping over the Internet.
