Around 80 Maltese Corinthia shareholders and bondholders have been in Tripoli, visiting the Corinthia Bab Africa Hotel and the site of Palm City – another Corinthia investment in Tripoli.
The visit was coordinated and organised by Corinthia’s management to provide shareholders with a first-hand
experience of their investment.
On Saturday, the party attended Mass at St Francis’ Church, celebrated by Tripoli Bishop Giovanni Martinelli, together with the French-speaking community in Tripoli.
The party also had an opportunity to meet Maltese
ambassador Joseph Cassar and other Malta-based officials at the Maltese embassy in Tripoli.
During their stay, the shareholders visited Tripoli’s Museum and the archaeological sites of Leptis Magna and Sabratha.
