A training camp for the senior and Under 21 national teams will be held between 12 and 19 August.

The seniors’ camp is being held in Slovakia and it ends with a friendly match against Albania in Tirana with the squad flying directly to the Albanian capital from Slovakia.

The match will be in preparation for the September clash with Turkey at Ta’ Qali in connection with the Euro 2008 qualifying Group C.

The Under 21 camp is being held in the Czech Republic.

National coach Dusan Fitzel is expected back in Malta from his holidays early next week. He is to call the players who are not playing in the European club competitions to start their preparations at Ta’ Qali in the last week of this month or early next month. The others will join the squad as soon as they finish their commitments in Europe with their clubs.
