Malta’s national team was yesterday mauled by Montenegro to the tune of 21-2 in their second match at the European B championships being held in Manchester, England.

The winners took a 5-1 lead by the end of the first session and increased it to 13-1 by the end of the second session. They went on to win the final two sessions 4-1 and 4-0 in a one-sided game where the Maltese were never given any chance.

Malta plays its third match against Belarus today. The latter drew 13-13 with Turkey yesterday. Malta beat Belgium 15-8 on Sunday.
