The competition continues today with the second match at Ta’ Qali national stadium this evening (kick-off 8pm).

After last Monday’s opening 2-2 draw between Sliema Wanderers and Hibernians, it will be the turn of champions Marsaxlokk to enter the scene as they take on Hibernians.

The Paolites came back from a 2-0 first half deficit against Sliema to take a point from a 2-2 draw, thanks to two late goals.

On their part, the champions will be eager to start their season with a win as they prepare for their great baptism of fire in the Champions League qualifying round.
