Committee Complains that its claim has stalled

Malta Independent Thursday, 12 July 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 20 years ago

The committee against the proposed re-development of the Sant’Antnin Waste Recycling Plant yesterday filed a judicial protest in court claiming that their claim filed before the Malta Environment and Planning Authority auditor stalled.

The committee filed the judicial protest against the Attorney General and the Environment and Rural Development Minister.

The committee claimed that the auditor’s office has been made non-functional and as a result, their claim against the proposed re-development of the said recycling plant in Marsascala has stalled.

They held the minister and the Attorney General responsible for damages.

Dr Owen Bonnici signed the writ.
