The Malta Maritime Authority report referred to on Monday in the case being heard by Magistrate Dr Audrey Demicoli reached the police in May 2007, not in March 2007, as had been testified, the police said yesterday.
This is due to be corrected at the next hearing of the case.
The case was instituted by the police against John Farrugia and Ivan Muscat. The incorrect information was given unintentionally by the investigating inspector.
