For the fourth consecutive year, Gymstars GC will be holding an international club competition, an event that has bow become very important in the local sporting calendar.

The year, the foreign clubs are coming from England and Wales and there are also some individual athletes from Sweden. Gymstars will be taking part with their best athletes, including those who took part in the Small Nations Games in Monaco, with the exception of Philip Caruana Turner, winner of the bronze medal, who unfortunately is abroad. Other clubs from the Malta Gymnastics Federation will also be taking part.

The competition is being held on Saturday and Sunday, 21 and 22 July, at the club in Tarxien from 9.30am onwards, with the opening ceremony being held on the first day.

The club's facilities, have recently been vastly improved and all the foreign athletes will, this year, be accommodated at the new hostel.
