Malta suffered another defeat against Macedonia yesterday in the last group match of the European ‘B’ Championship in Manchester.

Losing the first two sessions with identical scores of 3-1, Malta made a partial comeback in the third session, winning 5-4 to trail 10-7. Macedonia however won the last session 4-3 for a final score of 14-10.

Malta registered only one win in their qualifying group – against Belgium (15-8) on the opening day.

Montenegro, won all their matches, including a 14-5 triumph over Belarus yesterday to top the group.
