Valletta and Malta captain Gilbert Agius is expecting an offer from Swedish Second Division club Enkopings SK after the latter extended the Maltese player’s trial by one more week.
Valletta president Victor Sciriha confirmed with The Malta Independent that the player was granted permission to stay in Sweden for another week.
Agius had joined the Swedish second division club last Monday and his trial would have ended today, but the club has shown a lot of interest in acquiring his services and have opted to extend his stay for a further week.
In fact, they are expected to offer Gilbert Agius the chance to continue the season with them – it started in late April – on loan.
