Two brothers from Senglea were charged yesterday with seriously injuring a man and damaging his car after being involved in a fight during the Freedom Day regatta.

Anthony and Jason Delia, 33 and 29 respectively, pleaded not guilty to seriously injuring Martin Pace and damaging his Volvo.

They were also accused of assaulting Rhys Fiteni, Connie Pace and Ryan Bartolo, and using indecent language.

Police Inspector Alexander Grech prosecuted and Dr Roberto Montalto appeared for the men.
