Striker Daniel Bogdanovich is thought to be on his way back from the trial at English Championship side Stoke City.

Despite interest from Sliema, the striker is still on the books of Marsaxlokk who are said to be keen to offer him a new contract. A club spokesman said that it is quite likely that he will play again for Marsaxlokk, especially after Sliema signed Etienne Barbara from Birkirkara.

Earlier, before he started his series of trials with foreign clubs, Bogdanovich seemed to have been on the way to the Wanderers.
