Marsaxlokk and Malta international defender Luke Dimech is on trial at English League Two club Barnet.

Dimech, who is out of contract at local champions Marsaxlokk, is seeking a club in England which can give him at least a one-year contract.

The sturdy defender yesterday was supposed to be included in the Barnet team which had to play an away friendly at Farnborough.
