Winners and runners-up of various tournaments organised by the VLTC were presented with trophies during a social event held at the club recently. The competitions included the San Michel team tournament, Wilson team tournament, Playcraft Doubles and the VLTC Singles.

The San Michel team tournament was won by team E captained by John Azzopardi whilst team F led by Joe Vella ended runner-up.

The Wilson team tournament was won by team C led by Clint Cassar. Suniel Balani’s team A was runner-up.

The winners of the Playcraft Doubles which was divided into five sections for men and two sections for women were:

Men Div. 1: Clint Cassar/Suniel Balani; Div. 2: Ben Lufi/Sebastian Ravily; Div. 3: Pietro Scala/Simon Mamo; Div. 4: Anthony Coleiro/Anthony Mifsud; Div. 5: Conrad Aquilina/Victor Rutter.

Women Div. 1: Erika Azzopardi/Angela Portelli; Div. 2: Jacqueline Cutajar/Ludgarde Davies; Div. 3: Helga Azzopardi/Angela Delia.

Clayton Zammit won the VLTC Singles main event while Bradley Callus was runner-up. The Plate event was won by Clifton Caruana with Paul Fenech runner-up.

The finals were played on the Orienta court, The Model Shop court and the Samsung/Sound Machine court.
