A 20-year-old from Msida yesterday pleaded not guilty to breaking into a residence in St Venera on 4 February.

Before presiding Magistrate Edwina Grima, Marvin Zammit was accused of stealing a number of items and damaging property to the detriment of John Borg. He was further charged with receiving stolen items and relapsing.

The accused was denied bail and remanded in custody.

Police Inspector Raymond Cassar prosecuted. Dr Kris Busietta and Dr Jason Azzopardi appeared for the accused.
