The Water Services Corporation wishes to inform the public that the water cuts experienced by a number of residents in the Dingli Street area in Sliema, were the result of unexpected hitches during works intended to upgrade the water network in the area.

The works in question are part of an upgrading exercise leading to an increase in the water supply pressure. Since a quantity of water was unavoidably discharged onto the streets, pedestrians and motorists are urged to proceed with caution.
