Reference is made to the article “Ombudsman provides possible solution to MEPA investigative officer dilemma”, published in the 20 July edition of the Malta Independent. The complaint raised by Perit Cacopardo against the Authority concerned the professional qualifications necessary for the post as advertised. The Ombudsman declared that the claims against the person who was awarded the position were completely unfounded. Regrets.
