Moviment Graffitti applauds the action taken by the police Administrative Law Enforcement section in raiding a farm and rescuing a number of animals from abuse and neglect.

Moviment Graffitti urges all animal lovers to report incidences of abuse, neglect and abandonment to the concerned authorities. It is only through adequate monitoring, such as that by Noah’s Ark in this case, which can help animals out of their misery. Moviment Graffitti also asks that in such situations of neglect, which in the end relate to animal cruelty, early action should be taken and no time wasted issuing warnings to abusive owners, which go unheeded, in order to avoid prolonging the animals’ misery.

As it has already said in a number of statements, Moviment Graffitti also hopes that the ALE section is beefed up with adequate human and material resources to enable it to carry out humanitarian activities to curb animal cruelty, which unfortunately is still rampant in Malta.
