The General Workers Union claimed yesterday that the government together with Union Haddiema Maghqudin are undermining industrial democracy since they are not respecting the will of the majority of hospital workers who are GWU members, ie Nursing Aides, Health Assistants and Care Workers.

The agreement signed by the government with UHM does not enjoy the support of the majority of the workers in these categories, GWU said.

The case regards three issues GWU has with the hospital administration, regarding premium for three categories of workers, the new Nursing Aides and Care Workers roster and the Nursing Aides scale.
