Shooting: Wins For Muscat and Fenech

Joe Muscat won the Mosta Bacon Skeet Trophu which was organised at the Malta Shooting Sport Federation ranges in Bidnija yesterday. Joe Muscat closed with (41+23) 67 and was followed by Noel Attard with (43+21) 64, Max Fenech (40+23) 63, Clive Farrugia (40+20) 60, Silvio Attard (41+19) 60 and John Sultana (38+15) 53. Class A was won by Joe Muscat (44/50) and Noel Attard topped Class B (43/50)

Ronnie Fenech won the Eden Foundation Trophy which was also took place in Bidnija. This was a competition on 25 clays down the line and was organized in aid of The Eden Foundation.

Ronnie Fenech placed 1st with 25+25 and was followed by Gordon Borg with 25+24, Stephen Bugeja with 25+24, Micheal Bugeja with 25+24 and Chalie Zarb with 25+21

Ta' Gwido, Guns & Target, Fieldsports, Eagle Owl, In-Namra, Gun & Rod,Ta’ Kola,Id-Dura, Gun&Cycle, Franwin Sports and Playcrafts were the sponsors of this event.

The Malta Shooting Sport Federation will be organizing the Dritta Team Event on 12 August in Bidnija.

Meanwhile Maltese trap shooters Noel Attard, J.Aquilina,George Micallef, Emmanuel Attard and Frank Scorfna took part in The Nizza Grand Prix in Sicily,

Noel Attard placed first overall with 49/50 and the Maltese team won the Team Event with Noel Attard, Jason John Aquilina and George Micallef.
