After the 6-0 defeat at Ta’ Qali, Marsaxlokk were again beaten by SK Sarajevo, only that this time the score was more respectable.
Qualification was never in doubt for Sarajevo and they increased their aggregate advantage through Mirza Mesic after 42 minutes.
Marsaxlokk managed to limit the damage until the one hour mark when Zdravko Saraba scored the second goal for Sarajevo.
Cleaven Frendo, who was returning to the Marsaxlokk line-up after serving his suspension, reduced the arrears five minutes later but Sarajevo restored their two goal advantage thanks to a Almir Turkovic goal on 76 minutes.
SK Sarajevo progressed to the next round on a 9-1 aggregate.
The referee was Stanislav Todorov from the Bulgarian federation. He was assisted by Nikolay Angelov and Nedeltcho Chakarov. The fourth official was Nikolay Iordanov.
