UEFA’s number of committees has been expanded from 11 to 19 as from this year. The composition of the committees was approved by the Executive Committee last month.

MFA president Dr Joe Mifsud is a member of the Executive Committee and the chairman of one of the Players’ status, transfer and agents and match agents committee. Dr Mifsud is also Deputy Chairman of the new Futsal and Beach Soccer Committee.

Carmel Bartolo, MFA senior vice-president, is a member of the Appeals Body, Joseph Gauci, MFA general secretary, sits on the National Associations Committee, Alex Manfre, the MFA treasurer is a member of the newly-formed Media Committee and Ludovico Micallef, MFA vice-president, who is a member of the Youth and Amateur Football Committee.
