Celebrating its 36th anniversary, Hard Rock Cafe is reinforcing its dedication to deliver the ultimate dining experience by announcing a revitalised menu, which will rock palates this summer.
Adding new items with global appeal, Hard Rock is also revamping the menu’s look, combining its food with a history of the greatest collection of rock ‘n’ roll memorabilia and the story behind some of its pieces, including Eric Clapton’s guitar, John Lennon’s Remember Love drawing and Jimi Hendrix’s childhood rocking horse.
Hard Rock’s own chef, Michael Berry, explained the new menu at a press lunch to celebrate the 36th anniversary and the launch of the new menu.
The menu features authentic new items with a true rock ‘n’ roll flair, including guitar great Joe Perry’s Quesadillas. Perry has been creating original “licks” as Aerosmith’s lead guitarist for more than 30 years and with his approval, Hard Rock chefs have developed the quesadilla dish, consisting of a flour tortilla dusted with chilli powder and grilled on each side.
Hard Rock International’s specialty will continue to be its line of burgers with the new 280 gramme Legendary Burger, topped with bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato and a crispy homemade onion ring. Another new addition to Hard Rock’s line of burgers is the Stormy Blue Burger (a lightly seasoned burger with crumbled blue cheese and creamy horseradish sauce).
“Hard Rock was founded on creating an authentic experience in a rock ‘n’ roll atmosphere and for three decades we have strived to remain faithful to the brand’s intentions,” said Hard Rock Cafe’ PR officer Sarah Pavia. “By adding items like Smoked Chicken, Spinach and Artichoke Dip, The Rock Chop and The Legendary 10oz Burger, Hard Rock will continue to create the greatest dining experience with a global flair and a rock ‘n’ roll garnish.”
Hard Rock Cafe opened its doors in Bay Street, St Julian’s and from then on it never looked back. It is also at Malta International Airport, as a Hard Rock Bar at the departures lounge, and has a 140-seat Hard Rock Bar at the spectacular Valletta Waterfront.
