The Union Haddiema Maghqudin has withdrawn industrial action directives at the outpatient clinic following an increase in the staff complement.

It said the additional staff would help provide a better service for patients and there would not be unnecessary pressures on the employees.

Other directives are also to be withdrawn at the Medicines Authority, where the UHM is in dispute over a collective agreement. The union said it has been informed that the authority is to submit counter proposals and a date has been set for discussion.
