The Caritas Malta Epilepsy Association (CMEA) has launched a new website which enables persons with this condition and their families to access information about it and about the work of the association. The site provides links to international and local bodies and a hive of information including an archive of newsletters published by the association. It may be accessed at www.

The CMEA, which is affiliated to the International Bureau of Epilepsy, is now in its 11th year of activity. Apart from holding members’ meetings, the association has held various national conferences, given lectures to various groups, attended conferences and projects abroad, and for the past three years, in collaboration with the Education Division, organised in-service courses for teachers and facilitators.
