GO Plus TV Upgrades continue

Malta Independent Saturday, 28 July 2007, 00:00 Last update: about 13 years ago

Over the next few days, GO Plus will be undergoing the next phase of its digital television network upgrade. For this reason, in some instances customers may experience deterioration in the quality of the reception and some channels may not be available.

Moreover, as part of the ongoing programme to improve the level of service, customers are advised that a migration of TV frequencies will be taking place starting on the night of 31 July. In the majority of cases, the set-top box will automatically tune in to the new frequencies, and the channel line-up will be unaffected. However, during this switchover period, the service may be down for a number of hours. In some instances and areas of Malta, users might have to manually tune their GO Plus set-top boxes.

These upgrades, GO Plus said, are being undertaken to enhance the quality of transmissions and the company hopes to be able to return to normal transmission within the shortest possible time. For further information, call the freephone on: 8007-2121.
