A Hamrun man was put on probation for three years after he pleaded guilty to assaulting his girlfriend in a number of different places in his hometown over the past few days. Before Magistrate Antonio Mizzi, Raymond Magro, 49, was charged with assaulting and slightly injuring his girlfriend.
The court issued a three-year probation order, as well as a protection order against Magro. Police Inspector Mario Tonna prosecuted and Dr Jose Herrera appeared for the accused.
