Drop In overall attendances at domestic competitive matches

There was a drop in the overall attendances at domestic competitive matches.

Compared to the previous season, there was a drop of 30,062, considering all the four divisions – Premier, First, Second and Third.

The total attendance for first team matches the past season was 126,433 of whom 91,300 paid their way into the stadiums, while 35,133 did not pay.

A total of 74,322 paid to watch the Premier League matches, 13,189 paid for the First Division matches, 7,616 for the Second Division and 7,123 in the Third Division.

These figures show that there was an increase in attendances in the First and Third Division matches the past season.

A total amount of Lm172,190 was paid by spectators to watch local football, of which the amount of Lm26,280 was paid in VAT.
