The Prime Minister is currently on a two-week visit to Australia, where he is expected to meet Australian Prime Minister John Howard, Foreign Affairs Minister Alexander Downer and Opposition Leader Kevin Rudd.

Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi is also expected to meet members of the Maltese community in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney.

Dr Gonzi is accompanied by his wife, Mrs Gonzi, his private secretary Charles Bonello and communications and press secretary Josephine Vassallo.

The Maltese delegation is expected back in Malta on Monday 13 August.
