A man was conditionally discharged for a year yesterday, and fined Lm45, after he admitted threatening a number of police officers yesterday morning.
Christopher Drago, 39, from Attard, was charged with threatening a police inspector and two police constables in Zebbug when the officers were called to order him to remove his truck, which was blocking the way of a funeral cortege.
Drago also pleaded guilty to breaching the peace and to blocking Sciortino Road in Zebbug.
Magistrate Doreen Clarke conditionally discharged him and fined him Lm45.
Police Inspector Jesmond Borg prosecuted.
