The Wilkinsons Sword Waterpolo League resumes today, when Sirens take on bottom placed San Giljan.

Sirens are hot favourites to grab the two points at stake and move closer to front runners Neptunes and Sliema.

Sirens are fresh from their impressive win against Sliema, a win that put the St Paul’s Bay side to within striking distance from the front runners.

Sirens will aim to win today against San Giljan and wait for the result of tomorrow’s much awaited match between eternal rivals Sliema and Neptunes, with the Balluta side enjoying a two-point lead.

For San Giljan this evening’s match will be their last chance to keep their slim hopes alive. San Giljan stunned Sliema two weeks ago, but failed miserably in their last outing in the Balluta derby against Neptunes.
