The Gozo Music Festival

The sixth Gozo Music Festival, organised by Dynamic Promotions, will take place on Saturday, 18 August at the Maxtura Fields on the way to Marsalforn.

The festival’s reputation has enabled the organisers to invite international artists who appear in the top charts around the world. The aim is also to give local talent an opportunity to perform in front of a large audience and to offer an evening with a difference.

The night will begin at 9pm will be set in three

arenas and will feature 30 local and four international artists. The music for this year’s Gozo Music Festival will range from 80s to 90s, from House to Live Rock. The local artists will include Ira Losco, Winter Moods, Ivan Filletti and friends, Scar, Gianni and Rug, Spectrum, Johnny Cash and the band, Klinsmann, Indigo, DJ Ruby, Miss Roberta, J Joy, Joseph Armani, Carl Bee, Clay C, Luke Blade, DJ Pantos, Duncan F, Stevy Vee, Drew, Conrad SK, Clayton J, Alvin Gee, DJ Jeff, Alex Grech, Alfie Fabri, Malcolm B, DJ Ryan, Neville Peak, Terra, Luc Adams and Steve Caesar.

International artists will include Shena (UK), Prezioso and Marvin (Italy), the Italo Dance Superstars and Ericke (Netherlands).

The evening will be hosted by Malta's top presenters from 89.7 Bay – Jonathan Abel and Elinor. One of the arenas will include extra attractions for the evening – an ethnic and merchandise market, body art dancers, body painting, body massages, magicians and a snack bar.

For those who want to give someone a treat for the night, a VIP area will be available to welcome special guests.
