An Armed Forces of Malta aircraft with two crew members on board yesterday evening made an emergency landing at the area known as Tas-Slima, close to Dwejra in Gozo, after the aircraft developed problems.

The police yesterday confirmed that at about 7.30pm, the aircraft made a “successful emergency landing” in an open area in the limits of San Lawrenz. The exact cause of the emergency landing were unknown yesterday evening.

The two crew members were taken to hospital to be treated for shock, the police said.
