As the national coordinator of the European Territorial Cooperation Programmes 2007-2013, which include the IVC Programme, the Planning and Priorities Coordination Division within the Office of the Prime Minister would like to announce the opening of employment opportunities within this Programme.

The IVC Programme which is managed by North Regional Council, Pas de Calais, Lille in France envisages cooperation between the 27 member states of the European Union as well as Norway and Switzerland. This cooperation takes the form of projects in which eligible entities exchange and transfer best practices and know-how, and jointly develop approaches and instruments that contribute towards regional development, economic modernisation and social cohesion. A Joint Technical Secretariat (JTS) is also being set up in Lille, for the effective implementation of this programme.

There are currently seven new positions in connection with this JTS, five of which are to be filled during 2007. These first five positions are those of two projects officers, one financial control and audit Officer, one communication adviser and one assistant. The corresponding assignment will start in October 2007 and will last until the end of 2015 (mid-2013 for the communication adviser).
