Air Malta is once again reaffirming its support to the Malta Rugby Football Union (MRFU). The airline will be assisting MRFU with its travel related requirements including the association’s participation in overseas matches.
Mr Juan Borg Manduca, president of the MFRU met with Mr Brian Bartolo, General Manager Marketing and Product to sign the agreement.
Speaking after the signing Bartolo said, “Air Malta has been at the forefront in supporting national sports associations especially with their participation in overseas tournaments and events. This agreement is another step in the fulfillment of the Airline’s ‘Committed to our Community’ program by promoting youth development through sport. It is another clear commitment of our corporate social responsibility aimed at the local Maltese community”.
Borg Manduca said, “We are happy to have reached an agreement with Air Malta. The flight network of destinations that the airline provides gives us ideal connections to various capitals and paves the way to enhance and promote Maltese talent in international sport competitions.”
Air Malta’s assistance forms part of the airline’s ‘Committed to the Our Community’ program that aims to support and encourage local organisations and activities in various sectors be they cultural, social, philanthropic environmental, heritage, entertainment and sport, that help the Maltese Community in some way or another.
