Massimo Cremona, current No.3 in the World ranking of FISTF, has confirmed that for the coming season he will be playing for Italian giants ACS Perugia for the second consecutive year after his contract had expired.

After a successful spell last season with this club, it was obvious, that Perugia wanted to retain Cremona for the coming season which he agreed to stay with this club for another year.

Cremona commented “I settled myself very well with this club – they are special friends on and off the playing table.

“Last season only Napoli had the edge over us and the level between Perugia and Napoli is very close.

“Other clubs are a bit behind these two clubs so I did not hesitate to agree with Perugia. Once again next season will be a tough competition between us and Napoli for honours.”

“Next season’s club targets will be once again the same – the Champions League in Athens on 27 and 28 October and the Italian Serie A Championship.”

Perugia have finished runners up in all the main competitions second to Napoli in the Champions League, Serie A, Coppa Italia and the majors of Mons and Bologna.
