Floriana FC are attending a training camp in Serbia these days in preparation for the coming season. The training camp comes to an end on 19 August.

The Greens, who are now under coach Danilo Doncic, the former prolific Valletta and Sliema striker, will open their Premier League campaign with a tough clash against their eternal city and suburban rivals Valletta on 25 August.

The two foreign newcomers, Croat midfielder Zoran Ievnaic and English striker Yale Bosalie, are also included in the squad in Serbia.

Meanwhile, Floriana have announced that they are holding negotiations with another foreigner, from Serbia, who is also with the squad in the training camp. If the Greens reach an agreement over personal terms with this player, they will let go of Goran Stamenkovich, who left a good impression during his recent trial with the club.

The Greens have also said they are close to acquiring the services of their former player Clifton Ciantar who, the past season, was on the books of Sliema Wanderers. Ciantar has already started training with the Greens and also played in their last friendly matches.

During their stay in Serbia, the Greens will be playing a number of friendly matches against some local clubs.

Assisting Doncic at this training camp will be his assistants Milos Basic and Alexander Rogic.
