Three players shown the red card during last Monday’s Hamrun S.–Valletta match have all been suspended one match by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner.

They are goalkeeper Saviour Darmanin and defender Massimo Grima of Valletta and striker Gaetano Spiteri of Hamrun Spartans.

They will all be missing the opening match of the Bank of Valletta Premier League campaign. Valletta will be meeting rivals Floriana while Hamrun are to meet fellow newcomers Mqabba.
