A new date has been agreed upon for the Valletta-Floriana city and suburban derby on the opening day of the Bank of Valletta Premier League.

The match is being played on Monday 27 August at 8pm, instead of Saturday 25 August.

The move comes after a request from Valletta who will be having at least nine of their players with the MFA national squad for the pre-season training camp in the Czech Republic as well as the away international against Albania on 22 August.
