Two Gozitan men were yesterday each fined Lm300 after they admitted to copying data from an estate agency and making use of it without authorisation. Steve Attard, 25, and Justin Muscat, 26, pleaded guilty to copying and making use of the data to the detriment of Dhalia Estate Agency between September and November 2006. Magistrate Edwina Grima took into account that the two young men had filed an early
guilty plea, had cooperated with police and that the estate agency did not wish to pursue legal action.
Police inspector Angelo Gafà prosecuted.
