Premier side Floriana drew 1-1 with second Division side FK Sloga Temerin in a friendly, during their pre-season training camp in Novi Sad.
This match enabled coach Danilo Doncic to scrutinise several players and Floriana changed the team completely in the second half.
In a balanced match, which was still goalless at halftime, Floriana took the lead through Christian Caruana after 55 minutes but conceded Temerin’s late equaliser in added time through Nikolagab.
Doncic was pleased with the players’ output, confirming the benefits the team is getting through hard and professional training in Novi Sad.
The squad returns to Malta on 18 August and will play rivals Valletta in their Premier League’s opener on 27 August.
