As was announced some weeks ago, certain facilities at the National Stadium, Ta’ Qali are being enhanced for the comfort of all those who attend football matches.

Works on the installation of special glass panels along the West Stand, similar to those on the opposite side, are at advanced stage and should be completed shortly.

The 27 mm thick shatterproof panels consist of three layers of glass and include two laminate sheets in between.

A new electronic scoreboard supplied by Telesystems Communications Co. Ltd is on site and will also be installed in the coming days. The scoreboard will have visual facilities for the spectators’ benefit.

Until the work on the panelling along the West End is completed, entrance for spectators for the Super Cup match today will be from the Millennium Stand. VIP entrance will be as usual.
