In collaboration with the Malta Astronomical Society, PoezijaPlus invites you to attend its next session at the picturesque Cafe Deux Baronnes in Valletta on Monday 27 August at 7.30pm.

By the light of the silvery moon and by means of poetry, anecdotes, educative information, songs and the inevitable discussion which characterise the PoezijaPlus events, we will focus on the majestic sky above the Grand Harbour.

Sporting its usual flexible agenda, PP will delve deep in the stories of mythology and their effect on today’s society; attempts to answer the eternal question of whether we are the sole inhabitants of this vast cosmos, sift fiction from fact and invite the audience to peep at the moon and the grand Jupiter from its array of specialised telescopes which would be installed on the premises for this unique occasion.

Astronomical experts Edwin Camilleri, Tony Tanti and others will be among the speakers. Mark Schembri, Marlene Saliba and Antonette Camilleri will mix with other poets and readers in this tribute to the heavenly mysteries.
