Chicane, one of the world’s leading dance bands, Ferry Corsten – the Dutch superstar DJ and producer and Hernan Cattaneo – the global progressive house sensation have been confirmed as the main headliners for the Swinger Masterclass Sessions – The Open Air Special scheduled for 15 August at Gianpula fields.

Chicane will be performing a 90-minute live concert performing an array of their hits ranging from their Balearic classics such as Salt water, Offshore and Halycon to their more commercial chart toppers featuring top singers such as their hits with Bryan Adams Don’t give up and with Tom Jones Stoned in love. This July they will be releasing their next single Come tomorrow which is expected to be another chart-topping hit alongside their new album called Somersault.

As a producer, Ferry Corsten had various hits like Fire, Rock Your Body Rock and Punk just to name a few. He also made remixes of songs by world-famous artists like U2 (New Year’s Day), Duran Duran (Reach Up For The Sunrise), Faithless (Why Go?) and Moby (Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad?). Over the years, he has won awards such as Best Dance DJ 2005 at the Ibiza DJ Awards, Producer of the Year (beating superstar producers P. Diddy and Rodney Jerkins) at the Ericsson Music Awards, London, and the Silver Harp Award/Outstanding Contribution to Dutch Dance Music (2000), to name a few. He is currently listed as the world’s sixth top DJ in the world.His second artist album under his own name Ferry Corsten was released in 2006. L.E.F., the first single of the album Fire, was a collaboration with Simon LeBon of Duran Duran .The album combines Ferry’s signature sound while introducing a new pop/rock element with guest vocalists and collaborations with Simon LeBon, Howard Jones, Guru and Denise Stahlie to name a few. Aside from the release of the album, Ferry Corsten fans have been graced with the release of exciting remixes and compilations such as theme song from the hit Fox television show Prison Break and the new compilation album Passport – United States of America.

Hernan Cattaneo will be performing as part of his Sequential Vol. 2 world tour that is out on Renaissance.

If proof were needed one would need look no further than the latest volume in his Sequential series, an incredible double-mix CD that demonstrates why he is regarded as one of the world’s best DJs and the undisputed people’s champion in his native South America.

Renowned for his smooth mixing and programming, Sequential Vol.2 sees Hernan draw on his far-reaching diary to feature a global array of tracks from Scandinavia, The Netherlands, Germany, Israel, Greece and Argentina (of course!), alongside the obligatory stalwarts from England and America.

The music itself naturally mirrors this diverse approach, expertly interpreting and marrying a Martin Buttrich remix with Israel’s Chaim or Romania’s Livio and Roby with Nic Fanciulli’s masterful remix of Francois DuBois, just to highlight a few of the many moments contained within.

Hernan elaborates, “(this is) a mix that mirrors Vol.1, beginning on an atmospheric, emotive tip, rising toward more peak-time fare. Along the way, I hope to have captured… (the aforementioned) diversity, alongside a few pleasant surprises and, most importantly, a true reflection of my current sound.”
