Police arrested seven men and two women after carrying out a number of roadblocks and searches at a party held near Rabat. The drugs – ecstasy, cocaine and cannabis – were found in their possession.
The people taken into custody are aged between 16 and 26 and reside in Gzira, Zejtun, Zurrieq, Zabbar, Sta Lucija, Hamrun Tarxien and Msida.
