Dear Kappillan, for God’s sake listen to us. Thirty days have gone by since we presented a petition signed by 96 per cent of the residents of Qormi Road and of the surrounding streets.
The petition refers to the Attard parish council building on whose roof the “infamous” mobile phone mast stands which the residents in their vast majority have objected to so strongly. They ask the Kappillan to “tear” up the existing contract he has with the mobile phone company. I personally proposed and pleaded with him “that even if there exists one little doubt that these mobile phone masts are a health hazard” our Kappillan should be the first person to agree to his parishioners’ petition that these “masts” must be moved 400 yards away from residential areas.
For God’s sake, please, dear Kappillan do not ignore us.
