A couple of days ago, a Gozitan writing in another English language daily showed the need of an airstrip in Gozo. I do agree with him. There are others who do not because they believe land is very precious. There is an Italian saying: Between two litigants the third wins.
May I suggest we follow the example of Gibraltar? The airport of Gibraltar is built on the sea.
So in Gozo there will not only be an airstrip but a second airport. On the other hand, land will be saved.
