Mr Micallef’s contribution “Pro-life indeed” does not need a lengthy reply (TMIS, 5 August). It would be a waste of ink, paper and time.

The leader of Azzjoni Nazzjonali Dr Josie Muscat and the secretary general Philip Beattie, together with many of AN’s members, have signed the Gift of Life petition. How many on the MLPN bandwagon have done so? How many MPs have signed?

Hence one comes to the conclusion that the only official pro-life political party to date is the newly born Azzjoni Nazzjonali.

It is also worth reminding everyone that the present PN is not the Nationalist Party of the past.
