The national team squads – seniors and Under 21 – will be leaving Malta this afternoon, on their way to the Czech Republic.

After the camp in the Czech Republic is over, the seniors squad, under the charge of Dusan Fitzel will be travelling to Tirana, Albania, to play a friendly match on Wednesday 22 August, commencing at 8.45pm.

Not included in the squad are Michael Mifsud, Luke Dimech and Andre Schembri. The former two are playing in England while Schembri is now playing Germany with Eintracht Brunschweig.

The Under 21 squad will be meeting their Portuguese counterparts in a friendly match at the Rio Ave FC Stadium, Vila do Conde, on Tuesday 21 August. Kick off will be at 9pm.

The U-21 returns home on Wednesday 22 August and the 'A' team a day later.

On Saturday 8 September Malta will be hosting Turkey at Ta' Qali National Stadium in a Group C European Championship 2008 qualifying match, and on Wednesday 12 September the U-21 team will face France in a Group 10 qualifying home encounter, valid for the European
